Bible Study
You are invited to a Wednesday Night Bible Study taught by Dr. Brinkerhoff entitled: "John's Gospel" from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Edris Hall, in the hope that every participant will learn to love the Savior more than ever.
The Biblical scholar, Dr. William Barclay, writes that many people find themselves closer to God and to Jesus Christ in John's Gospel than any other book in the world.
Women's Bible Study
We invite all women who haven't been a part of our group in the past to join us for this monthly time together of Bible Study.
This year we are going to learn more about God's Love for us as we study "Embraced By God" by Max Lucado.
We have a warm, caring group of women who meet on the second Monday of each month at the church.
Our first meeting in Fall is on Monday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. at the church! Please join us!
Men's Breakfast
The Men of the Church gather every Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. for breakfast, coffee and informal fellowship to discuss the coming Sunday's Scripture Lesson at Daytona Beach Golf Club Restaurant (600 Wilder Ave.).
Please come and join them!
One Anothering Groups
"Church family" is a term that indicates a closeness between members. That relationship at First Presbyterian is cemented by our One Anothering Groups – in actuality, members of the group truly care for one another . In that context they study Biblical teachings and ethical principles and how they apply to our everyday lives. The small groups meet at the homes of various members, and they decide what topic they would like to study over 8 to 12 meetings. There is always a ready welcome for anyone who would like to be part of a group.
They meet through the month at various member's homes. One group currently meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, and another meets the second and fourth Monday. For those who do not like to drive at night, we offer another group that meets on the second and fourth Thursday afternoons at 3:30p.m. Please contact the church office for more information at
Church Women United Sewing
Sewing is the bond that binds this group together. That and a desire to help other people is what inspires them to gather each Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. to noon to make quilts and lap robes for the immediate needs of people in this area as well as those in Third World Countries. Everyone brings a bag lunch for some food and fellowship.
