Missions we support

We minister to each other and to the community, and we reach out to the world, showing concerns for the needs of the people.

Through our denominational support, Presbyterian missionaries, volunteers, and students work throughout the world in evangelism, agriculture, health care, education, and many more services, joining with partner churches in giving specific help to the rapidly growing numbers of the Christian family worldwide. There are approximately 1,500 appointed and recognized Presbyterian mission people serving in all categories, 886 of whom are full time, working in over 60 different countries. Your benevolence dollars help keep the Presbyterian presence strong where it is needed in countries such as Japan, Zaire, Taiwan, and Haiti.
